By virtue of the Charter and Power which Christ hath given to His Church she is enabled and has power only to receive or dismiss or exclude members as duty requires and to choose her officers. She is vested with full power to do her business independent of any other power given to any other man or set of men so that none in or out of the Church can make laws, pass any acts or impose anything upon her.

We therefore as a Church of Christ adopt the following articles.

1. In case of trespass the party grieved shall not reveal the grievance to any out of or in the Church but by Gospel order as in Matthew 18:15,16,17 and elsewhere.

2. One member professing to be grieved with another or with the Church and cannot show a cause for grievance shall be dealt with by the Church as in Proverbs 19:5 and Deuteronomy 19:19 and elsewhere.

3. Where a member is suspected and no pointed proof shall be dealt with as in the case of Leprosy as in Leviticus 13:5.

4. In the case of grievances between members and no evidence they ought to bear their burdens for one witness shall not rise up against another man as in Numbers 35:30, Deuteronomy 19:15, etc.

5. Offenders shall be tried by the Church one at a time.

6. None are admitted as evidence but members of a Regular Church.

7. One member shall not sue another before the unjust judge.
